Using Abaqus simulation software and modeling tools, our group was tasked with designing and creating a frame along with various associated elements, including a harness for the seat, basic suspension, and seat brackets. We analyzed our designs and the frame's ability to withstand multiple impacts, ensuring compliance with FSAE specifications for safety and performance. Additionally, we selected steel with a minimum ultimate tensile strength of 365 MPa for all steel components to meet the required structural integrity standards.
